Thirsties is revolutionizing the most widely used cloth diaper in the world. Prefold cloth diapers are popular for their affordability and are the most common diaper supplied by cloth diaper services. Though they don’t share all the bells and whistles as other more modern cloth diapers, they have their definite and permanent place in the industry and they have been proven dependable and economical.

However, Thirsties Duo Hemp Prefolds are no ordinary prefold! We’ve solved many of the cons of prefold diapers in our patent-pending design. Ordinary prefolds are bulky and take a long time to dry. When hung to dry, they can become stiff and crunchy. In addition, most prefolds are 8 layers thick in the middle, which makes it difficult to clean all layers of the diaper thoroughly.

Thirsties Duo Hemp Prefolds are designed to allow air flow and each panel is only 2 layers thick which allows for thorough cleansing with little effort and quick drying times. Our custom hemp jersey is as soft as your favorite t-shirt and it knitted with love right here in the USA. Hemp is an ideal diaper fabric as it displays anti-microbial properties, is many times more durable, and is more absorbent than cotton. In fact, our hemp jersey is 25% more absorbent than a prefold of the same weight made from cotton alone! This translates into a very trim and effective cloth diaper with a hefty amount of absorbing power.

Similar in feel and fit as our best selling Duo Wrap, Thirsties® Duo Diapers are completely waterproof yet remain breathable, pliable, and very comfortable for your baby’s delicate skin. The ultra-soft microfleece liner on the inside protects baby’s skin from wetness and also resists staining. Our handy sleeve design features openings on both sides of the diaper between the microfleece and waterproof layer. The duo openings featured in Thirsties® Duo Diaper enable easy insert stuffing from either side of the diaper and also make for easy cleaning. There is no need to remove the soiled inserts when washing -- your hands will remain clean! Simply toss your soiled Thirsties® Duo Diaper in the laundry and the inserts will agitate free from the diaper in the washing machine.

Our Duo Inserts provide double the duty as well! Thirsties' specialty inserts feature two layers of serged microfiber terry snapped together with five serged layers of hemp jersey; seven thirsty layers in all! Microfiber terry is a fast absorber designed to rest closest to your baby’s skin (beneath the microfleece sleeve); hemp is a stable absorber and pairs perfectly behind the microfiber terry to add more absorbency and to prevent compression leaking.

Logically, we thought a one-size diaper cover would be the most affordable option for the end-consumer. Recent improvements to our already best-selling design includes the addition of a facing layer of laminated fabric that is now attached to the inside of the wings to improve on long-term durability. Thirsties® Microterry Inserts offers the very best in absorbency. The full size 3-ply soaker is made from the best microterry available and offers a more complete coverage. Contoured for comfort and designed to fit in all major pocket diaper brands end-to-end. The wide end of the insert can be tucked into the front or the back of the pocket diaper to suit the specific needs of your baby girl or baby boy. Can be used alone inside a cover as a contoured diaper (although it is not recommended to put microterry right next to baby's skin by many so use with a fleece liner or doubler) and also makes a great doubler for any diapering system. You will be amazed by their trimness & impressed by their absorbency! Imported.

Fab Doublers

Thirsties Fab Doublers add additional absorption capabilities to your existing cloth diapering system without adding tremendous bulk. Made from 3 layers of luxuriously soft Cotton Velour, you will find that these are exactly what your baby needs to sleep comfortably through the night without leaks.

Adding a Thirsties Fab Doubler into a Thirsties Pocket All-In-One is simple. Flip open the pocket of the diaper and insert the doubler. Reverse the pocket opening and wrap diaper around baby.

When adding to Thirsties Fab Fitted diapers, tuck the doubler into your Thirsties Diaper Cover. Wrap and fasten your diaper around baby first and then add the doubler and cover.

Available in an assortment of coordinating Thirsties colors. Machine wash warm or hot. Hang to Dry or Dry in Dryer. Made in the USA.

Fab Wipes

Thirsties Fab Wipes measure 8x8 inches and are 2 ply. A textured cotton velour on one side to assist with bigger wipe-ups and delicate microfleece on the other side for drying or for lighter messes.
